The large enamel bowls with a beaded rim (that's what the curved rim is called in enamel terminology) are popular and versatile helpers in the kitchen, preserving the authentic taste of food. The CLASSIC Pastel Fruit and Salad Bowl can be stored in a space-saving manner as it is stackable (even with its smaller "sisters," the kitchen bowls). They are used as fruit bowls, salad bowls, and very often as dough bowls for baking.
The material enamel consists of iron fused with glass at high temperatures, meaning it is made from natural raw materials.
The non-porous, smooth glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene. It is aroma-neutral and antibacterial, and also easy to clean. With proper use and care, enamelware provides long-lasting enjoyment and retains its typical shine.
Riess is currently the only tableware manufacturer whose production has a positive CO2 balance. Their factory is powered by electricity from their own hydroelectric power plants. They generate more electricity than they need themselves and feed it into the grids as green electricity.
