The Riess CLASSIC Pastel saucepan is an enamel saucepan with a spout and long handle for serving milk, water, soup or sauces, available in three sizes from 500 ml to 1 liter in pink, turquoise and yellow. The enamel handle has a hole for hanging. It is suitable for all types of stoves and for people with nickel allergies.
Every kitchen needs a saucepan, and our enamel version is one of those shapes that everyone in Austria probably knows. With the practical spout and long handle, liquids such as milk, water, soup, sauces can be served easily without spilling.
The saucepan is a popular kitchen helper as a milk pot, sauce pot and much more. The rim is curved – a beaded rim in enamel language – where the metal is bent to create a round and stable rim. The handle is made of enamel and has a hole so that the beautiful piece can be decoratively hung in the kitchen and is always at hand.
The material enamel consists of iron, which has been fused with glass at high temperatures. These enamel products can be used on all types of stoves (gas, electric, glass ceramic, induction and even over an open fire). Thanks to its iron core, the enamel conducts heat in a flash and stores it sustainably for energy-saving cooking. Perfect hygiene thanks to the non-porous, smooth glass surface. Enamel cookware is also recommended for nickel allergy sufferers.
Riess is currently the only cookware manufacturer whose production has a positive CO2 balance. Their factory is powered by electricity from their own hydroelectric power plants. They generate more electricity than they need and feed it into the grids as green electricity.
