More about Cats & Dogs
Felt cat caves, pet beds and dog toys: discover accessories for cats and dogs, handcrafted from pure new wool. The dense wool felt is robust and retains its shape — made for animals that knead, chew and play energetically.
How to recognise good felt accessories for pets
Material: Pure new wool without synthetic fibres — naturally hard-wearing and resistant to absorbing odours.
Craftsmanship: Dense, handcrafted felt retains its shape, even when your cat uses the cave every day.
Choice of material: Pets lie, chew and sleep on their accessories — so what they are made of matters; the material and certifications are listed on every product page.
Suitable toys: Felt balls, rings and sticks — available individually or in sets, such as the Mats & Marla Ball Set.
Our brand: why myfelt
myfelt handcrafts its felt range from pure new wool — from the Kuno and Risa cat caves to Fine-series dog toys in ring and stick shapes. One brand, one material, consistently delivered: that is why it takes centre stage here.
Looking after wool felt — keeping the bed looking its best
Air out caves and beds regularly — wool largely freshens itself. Treat stains locally with lukewarm water and mild soap; avoid the washing machine and tumble dryer to prevent the felt from losing its shape. Loose pet hair can simply be vacuumed or brushed away.
How can I help my cat get used to its new cave?
Place the cave somewhere quiet and sheltered, and put a familiar-smelling blanket inside. Most cats will explore their new retreat by themselves — patience works better than persuasion.
Is felt toy safe for dogs?
The toy is made from pure new wool, a robust natural material. As with any dog toy, dogs should play under supervision, and the toy should be replaced as soon as individual parts come loose.
Does felt work with the rest of my home?
Very well — wool felt is a warm, homely material. To complement it, discover felt seat cushions and poufs as well as rugs in the same look. And if you are looking for a gift for an animal lover, you will find plenty of inspiration in our gift ideas.
Why not pair it with: All household products.
