Shampoo
Natural shampoo cleanses your hair with biodegradable formulas — without silicones that only smooth the surface and without harsh sulphates that can irritate the scalp. At Taiga, you’ll find solid and liquid shampoos from Speick, I+M and Mukti Organics, for every hair type.
How to recognise a good natural shampoo
Four criteria can help you choose. First, silicone-free: your hair is genuinely cared for rather than simply sealed. Second, biodegradable, because shampoo goes down the drain with every wash. Third, the format: solid shampoo saves plastic and often lasts twice as long as a bottle. Fourth, your hair type: from repair with hemp and volume with wheat germ to shine with lemon and balance with wild herbs, you’ll find the right formula here.
Our brands: why we chose them
Speick offers trusted lines such as Men Aktiv and Natural Aktiv — including formulas with caffeine and large refill sizes. I+M complements the range with certified natural cosmetics. Mukti Organics stands for plant-based hair care with its Botanique Shampoo.
Practical advice: switching to natural shampoo
After years of using silicone-based products, your hair may need two to four weeks to adjust — until the old build-up has been washed out. After that, your hair’s natural texture will emerge. Solid shampoo works best when lathered in your hands or directly at the roots. Leave it uncovered to dry after washing and it will last especially well.
Solid or liquid shampoo — which is better?
Both cleanse equally well. Solid shampoo goes further, saves packaging and is ideal for travel. Liquid shampoo feels more familiar to use and is also economical when bought as a refill. Ultimately, your routine is what matters.
Which shampoo is right for my hair type?
Stressed hair benefits from repair formulas with hemp, fine hair from volume formulas with wheat germ, dull hair from lemon, and sensitive scalps from gentle sensitive and herbal formulas. There are also active shampoos with caffeine.
Is there anything I should bear in mind when switching?
Give your hair a few washes to adjust. An organic hair conditioner makes combing easier during the transition, while a natural hair treatment provides intensive care afterwards.
