Gentle Sleep
Gentle sleep starts with the material: bedding and fitted sheets made from cotton, linen, muslin and TENCEL™ Lyocell create a sleep environment your body can feel. Here you'll find textiles made from these materials from fleuresse and Hutch&Putch for deeper, more natural nights.
How to recognise good-quality bedding
- Material: Natural fibres such as cotton and linen are breathable and absorb moisture — the basis for a balanced sleep environment.
- Fabric: Jersey is stretchy and easy to care for, Mako satin is smooth and refined, muslin is airy and soft, and brushed jersey is cosy and warm — choose according to the season and your preferences.
- Fit: Good fitted sheets sit snugly and don't slip — make sure you choose the right size for your mattress.
Our brands: why these ones
fleuresse and Hutch&Putch stand for bedding with a focus on natural materials — from jersey and Mako satin fitted sheets to the Provence range in cotton and linen, as well as plain-colour bedding made from TENCEL™ Lyocell and Eliane muslin bedding. Two brands, one aim: textiles you'll enjoy waking up in.
Practical know-how: your sleep environment by season
In summer, choose smooth, cool fabrics such as Mako satin or cotton-linen blends; in winter, opt for brushed jersey and muslin. Practical tip: with two sets per bed, you can change them easily while the other set is in the wash — changing your bedding every one to two weeks also keeps your bed fresh and hygienic. Complete your bed with organic sleeping pillows, duvets and fitted sheets, discover more designs in eco bedding — and end the day with evening wind-down rituals.
Which material is right for me?
If you tend to get hot, smooth, breathable fabrics such as Mako satin, linen blends or TENCEL™ Lyocell are a good choice. If you get cold easily, brushed jersey and muslin will keep you pleasantly warm.
What is the difference between jersey and Mako satin?
Jersey is knitted, making it stretchy, crease-resistant and easy to care for — ideal for fitted sheets. Mako satin is smoothly woven, feels cool to the touch and has a subtle sheen — a classic choice for bedding.
Will a fitted sheet fit every mattress?
No — the length, width and height of your mattress are crucial. Measure it before buying and compare the measurements with the size information on the product page; your sheet will then fit snugly and without creases.
