More about Inspected individual items
Inspected one-offs are returned items with minor cosmetic imperfections: fully functional, cleaned and considerably cheaper than new products. Instead of being lost in the returns cycle, these products are given a second life at Taiga. Each one exists only once — available immediately while stocks last.
How we inspect each one-off
- Individually checked: Each product is checked, cleaned and tested to ensure it is fully functional.
- Cosmetic imperfections only: The defect is limited to the outside — such as damaged original packaging, fine scratches or a small dent.
- Complete: The product’s function and contents remain fully intact.
Our brands: why these in particular
The current one-offs come from Brabantia: pedal bins and Touch Bins ranging from the compact NewIcon with 20 litres to the Bo Touch Bin with three plastic inserts for waste separation and the 36-litre Bo Touch Bin — in white, matt steel, matt black or metallic gold.
Why returned stock is often the smarter choice
A returned item whose only imperfection is damaged packaging is no different from a new product in use — only the price is different. If you can live with a fine scratch, you can save considerably while also ensuring that a finished product is used rather than discarded. A practical tip: one-offs sell out quickly. If you like a model, don’t wait too long.
What exactly is an “inspected one-off”?
These are returned items that have been individually checked, cleaned and tested to ensure they are fully functional. The imperfection is purely cosmetic — for example, damaged packaging or fine scratches. You receive a fully functional product at a reduced price.
Is everything included?
Yes. The product’s function and contents are the same as for a new product; the only difference is the described cosmetic imperfections.
How long is an individual item available?
Each item exists only once and is available for immediate delivery — but only while stocks last. Once an item has been sold, it’s gone.
Prefer brand-new products? You’ll find them in our bins, lighting and household products.
