Description
Description
Depending on the hob, you can switch it off completely around 5 minutes before the end of cooking, as enamel retains heat for a long time. We therefore strongly recommend using pot holders when lifting the pots and lids, as the enamel handles also retain heat. One advantage of the enamel handles, however, is that you can safely place the pot in the oven to keep food warm.
This tall cooking pot is ideal for dishes with plenty of liquid. It is perfect for preparing soups, boiled beef such as Tafelspitz, one-pot dishes, ragouts, pasta, vegetables, potatoes and much more.
Upgrade your kitchen equipment with these practical, versatile cooking pots, which stand out for their high-quality construction and long service life.

Use & care
Use & care
Before first use: Remove the sticker, fill with boiling vinegar water and leave to soak briefly. RIESS enamel can be washed in the dishwasher. Riess recommends washing by hand to preserve the brilliant shine of the enamel for longer. If using a dishwasher, select the gentle glassware programme. Avoid wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive powders containing sand and cleaning sponges with ceramic particles. Store thoroughly dried; remove limescale stains with vinegar water.

Frequently asked questions about the series
Can I use Country crockery on an induction hob?
According to Riess, the spouted pots, saucepans and pots in the Country designs are suitable for all types of hob, including induction. Start on a low setting and do not use the boost function. The compatible hob types are listed for each product.
Is Country crockery dishwasher-safe?
Yes, according to Riess, almost all Country products are dishwasher-safe. For best results, use the gentle glassware programme. To keep them looking their best for longer, Riess recommends washing them by hand.
How do I care for enamel properly?
Use mild washing-up liquid and a soft sponge. Wire brushes, steel wool and abrasive cleaners will scratch the surface. Allow hot cookware to cool before adding cold water.
Brand
