You can also heat your drink directly on the hob in this mug, including on induction and all other hob types. However, it should be heated over a low flame because the base diameter is very small. When heating milk, add a little water first to prevent it from burning.

Before first use: Remove the sticker, fill with boiling water and vinegar, and leave to work briefly. RIESS enamel can be washed in the dishwasher. Riess recommends washing by hand to preserve the brilliant shine of the enamel for longer. If using a dishwasher, select the gentle glassware programme. Avoid wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive powders containing sand and cleaning sponges with ceramic particles. Store thoroughly dried; remove limescale with water and vinegar.

According to Riess, the spouted pots, saucepans and pots in the Country designs are suitable for all types of hob, including induction. Start on a low setting and do not use the boost function. The compatible hob types are listed for each product.
Is Country crockery dishwasher-safe?
Yes, according to Riess, almost all Country products are dishwasher-safe. For best results, use the gentle glassware programme. To keep them looking their best for longer, Riess recommends washing them by hand.
How do I care for enamel properly?
Use mild washing-up liquid and a soft sponge. Wire brushes, steel wool and abrasive cleaners will scratch the surface. Allow hot cookware to cool before adding cold water.
