Our lidded casseroles in this version have a rounded shape and classic enamel handles. Depending on your hob, it can be switched off completely around 5 minutes before the end of cooking, as enamel retains heat for a long time. We therefore strongly recommend using oven gloves when lifting the pots and lids, as the enamel handles also retain heat.
One advantage of the enamel handles is that the pot can easily be placed in the oven to keep food warm. The rim of the casserole is fitted with a sturdy chrome edge.

Can I use Country crockery on an induction hob?
According to Riess, the spouted pots, saucepans and pots in the Country designs are suitable for all types of hob, including induction. Start on a low setting and do not use the boost function. The compatible hob types are listed for each product.
Is Country crockery dishwasher-safe?
Yes, according to Riess, almost all Country products are dishwasher-safe. For best results, use the gentle glassware programme. To keep them looking their best for longer, Riess recommends washing them by hand.
How do I care for enamel properly?
Use mild washing-up liquid and a soft sponge. Wire brushes, steel wool and abrasive cleaners will scratch the surface. Allow hot cookware to cool before adding cold water.
