About werkstück
Frequently asked questions about werkstück
Where are werkstück grain mills made?
In GW Tirol’s production halls in Imst and Vomp in Tyrol. GW Tirol has been operating since 1980 and works in metal, wood and textile processing, as well as electrical assembly; domestic grain mills are one part of its work.
What can go into the Millenia?
Anything that is not oily, fatty or moist, such as wheat, spelt, rye, millet, maize, oats and pulses. According to werkstück, nuts and oil-rich seeds such as linseed or poppy seeds should not be used, as they can cause the grinding stones to become clogged.
How is the Millenia cleaned?
First disconnect it from the mains, then clean the grinding chamber and grinding stone with a vacuum cleaner or brush. Coarsely ground rice can help if needed—never use water. The mill reminds you to clean it after every 11th grinding cycle.
