As an Austrian company, Riess naturally also offers a schnitzel pan. But don't let the name fool you! While the round oven pan with its high rim and two handles is excellent for frying crispy schnitzels, it is also versatile: braised dishes, egg dishes, and even Asian wok dishes turn out great in this enamel schnitzel pan. With its two practical handles, it can be placed directly on the dining table, making it suitable as a serving pan.
The schnitzel pan can also be placed in the oven at high temperatures without any problems and used as a baking dish or oven pan, for example, as a gratin dish for au gratin ham pasta, and even as a baking pan for baking bread.
The material enamel consists of iron fused with glass at high temperatures, meaning it is made from natural raw materials. This enamel cookware can be used on all types of hobs (gas, electric, ceramic, induction, and even over an open fire). Thanks to the iron core, heat is quickly conducted and then stored: for sustainable, energy-saving cooking. Perfect hygiene is guaranteed by the non-porous, smooth glass surface. This surface is aroma-neutral, antibacterial, and easy to clean. With proper use and care, enamel cookware provides long-lasting enjoyment and retains its characteristic shine.
Riess is currently the only cookware manufacturer whose production has a positive CO2 balance. Their factory is powered by electricity from their own hydropower plants. They generate more electricity than they need and feed it into the grids as green electricity.
