The Riess CLASSIC Schnitzel Pan Black is a round, black enamel oven pan with high sides and two handles, available in five sizes from Ø20 cm to Ø40 cm. It is suitable for frying schnitzel as well as for stews, egg dishes, and wok dishes. At high heat, it can also be used as a baking dish, for example, as a gratin dish or for baking bread.
As an Austrian company, Riess naturally also offers a schnitzel pan. But don't let the name fool you! While the round oven pan with high sides and two handles is excellent for frying crispy schnitzel, it is also versatile for other uses: stews, egg dishes, and even Asian wok dishes can be prepared in this enamel schnitzel pan. With its two practical handles, it can be placed directly on the dining table, making it suitable as a serving pan.
The schnitzel pan can also be placed in the oven at high heat without problems and used as a baking dish or oven pan, e.g., as a gratin dish for baked ham pasta and even as a baking pan for bread.
The material enamel consists of iron fused with glass at high temperatures, meaning it is made from natural raw materials. This enamel cookware can be used on all types of stoves (gas, electric, ceramic, induction, and even over an open fire). Thanks to the iron core, heat is conducted quickly and then stored: for sustainable, energy-saving cooking. Perfect hygiene is guaranteed by the non-porous, smooth glass surface. This surface is aroma-neutral, antibacterial, and easy to clean. With proper use and care, enamel cookware will provide long-lasting enjoyment and retain its typical shine.
Today, Riess is the only cookware manufacturer whose production has a positive CO2 balance. Their factory is powered by electricity from their own hydroelectric power plants. They generate more electricity than they need themselves and feed it as green electricity into the grids.
