The CLASSIC Pastel Roasting & Baking Dish by Riess is a rectangular enameled roasting and baking dish with two handles, available in 4 sizes from 26x17 to 37x22 cm. You can bake, roast, or gratinate in it and cut directly at the table. It is heat-resistant up to 450°C and oven-safe.
This CLASSIC Pastel Roasting & Baking Dish made of enamel with its typical two handles reminds many of grandma's wonderful Buchteln (Austrian for oven noodles) or the Sunday roast pork from the "Bratenreindl" (Austrian term for cookware).
This baking dish or roasting dish – depending on the occasion – truly has it all. It is a true multi-talent for everything you want to bake, roast, or gratinate in the oven and then serve and cut directly at the table, and it is easy to clean afterwards.
The material enamel consists of iron fused with glass at high temperatures, meaning it is made from natural raw materials. In these enamel baking and roasting dishes, thanks to the iron core, heat is quickly conducted and perfectly stored: for sustainable, energy-saving, and uniformly even roasting or baking.
Perfect hygiene is guaranteed by the non-porous, smooth glass surface. This is aroma-neutral and antibacterial, and also easy to clean. With proper use and correct care, enamel cookware brings long-lasting joy and retains its typical shine.
Riess is currently the only cookware manufacturer whose production has a positive CO2 balance. Their factory is powered by electricity from their own hydroelectric power plants. They generate more electricity than they need themselves and feed it into the grids as green electricity.
