CLASSIC Pastel Roasting & Baking Dish

The CLASSIC Pastell roasting and baking dish from Riess is a rectangular enamel dish with two carrying handles, available in 4 sizes from 26x17 to 37x22 cm. You can use it for baking, roasting or gratinating, then slice and serve directly at the table. It is heat-resistant up to 450°C and suitable for use in the oven.

This CLASSIC Pastell enamel roasting and baking dish, with its characteristic two carrying handles, brings back memories for many people of Grandma's delicious Buchteln (the Austrian term for oven-baked sweet rolls) or the Sunday roast pork served in a “Bratenreindl” (the Austrian term for cookware).

This baking or roasting dish – depending on the occasion – is truly versatile. It is a real all-rounder for anything you want to bake, roast or gratinate in the oven, then serve and slice straight at the table, and it is easy to clean afterwards.

Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures, using natural raw materials. In these enamel baking and roasting dishes, the iron core conducts heat quickly and stores it perfectly, for sustainable, energy-efficient and evenly distributed roasting or baking.
