Description
The tall Pastel pot with chrome rim, also known as a stockpot, has a classic straight shape and two enamel handles. Lids for the cooking pots are available separately. They sit securely on the pot and act as energy monitors: as soon as the lid starts to rattle, it is time to turn down the heat and save electricity. Depending on the hob, the heat can be switched off completely around 5 minutes before the end of cooking, as the enamel retains heat for a long time. We therefore strongly recommend using oven gloves when lifting the pots and lids, as the enamel handles also retain heat. However, the advantage of the enamel handles is that you can safely place the pot in the oven to keep food warm.
The cooking pot with chrome rim from the Classic Pastel range is part of the basic equipment of any kitchen belonging to a lover of Pastel.
Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures, using natural raw materials. This enamel cookware is suitable for all types of hob (gas, electric, ceramic, induction and even over an open fire). Thanks to the iron core, heat is conducted quickly and then retained: for sustainable, energy-efficient cooking.
Perfect hygiene is guaranteed by the pore-free, smooth glass surface. It is neutral in taste and inhibits bacteria, while also being easy to clean. When used and cared for correctly, enamel cookware provides lasting enjoyment and retains its characteristic shine.
