The CLASSIC Pastel baking dish from Riess is a rectangular enamel baking dish without handles, available in 3 sizes from 32x19 to 38x22.5 cm in pink, blue, and green. It is suitable for casseroles, pasta dishes (Schinkenfleckerl), lasagna, as well as for baking fruit tarts or strudel. The rolled rim makes it robust and oven-safe.
As the name suggests, the CLASSIC Pastel baking dish is suitable for all kinds of casseroles, but also for pasta dishes (Schinkenfleckerl) and lasagna, and of course for baking fruit tarts or strudel and much more. It is available in various sizes and colors and is made of robust enamel. The rim of the baking dish is rounded – a rolled rim in enamel terminology – where the metal is bent to create a round and stable edge. The baking dish can be used in any oven. But beware: always use oven mitts.
The material enamel consists of iron fused with glass at high temperatures, hence made from natural raw materials. Thanks to the iron core, heat is quickly conducted and then stored: for sustainable, energy-saving cooking and baking.
Perfect hygiene is guaranteed by the non-porous, smooth glass surface. This is flavor-neutral and antibacterial, and also easy to clean. With proper use and care, enamel cookware will bring joy for a long time and retain its typical shine.
Riess is currently the only cookware manufacturer whose production has a positive CO2 balance. Their factory is powered by electricity from their own hydroelectric power plants. They generate more electricity than they need themselves and feed it into the grids as green electricity.
