CLASSIC Pastel Casserole Dish

The CLASSIC Pastell baking dish from Riess is a rectangular enamel baking dish without handles, available in 3 sizes from 32x19 to 38x22.5 cm in pink, blue and green. It is suitable for casseroles, ham and noodle bakes, lasagne, as well as baking fruit cakes or strudel. The rolled rim makes it robust and suitable for use in the oven.

As the name suggests, the CLASSIC Pastell baking dish is suitable for all kinds of casseroles, as well as ham and noodle bakes and lasagne. Of course, it can also be used for baking fruit cakes or strudel, and much more. It is available in various sizes and colours and is made from durable enamel. The edge of the baking dish has a rounded shape – known as a rolled rim in enamel terminology – created by bending the metal to produce a rounded, stable edge. The baking dish can be used in any oven. But please note: always use oven gloves.

Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures, using natural raw materials. Thanks to its iron core, it conducts heat quickly and then stores it, making cooking and baking more energy-efficient.

The pore-free, smooth glass surface ensures excellent hygiene. It is neutral in flavour, inhibits bacterial growth and is also easy to clean. When used and cared for properly, enamel cookware provides long-lasting enjoyment and retains its characteristic shine.
