The Hydrophil Konjac Sponge is a cleansing sponge made from konjac root for gently cleansing, exfoliating and massaging your skin. It moisturises and, thanks to its alkaline properties, helps with acne-prone skin. Its soft, gentle surface also makes it suitable for washing toddlers and babies.
The Konjac Sponge from Hydrophil, made from konjac root, is ideal for gently cleansing, exfoliating and massaging your skin.
During production, the root of the konjac plant is ground into flour. The resulting white konjac flour is mixed with water and baked in an oven to create a sponge. In Japan, konjac sponges have been used daily to wash the face for over 1500 years, while in Korea they have traditionally been reserved for baby care.
