Sonett Mint-Myrtle Toilet Cleaner removes limescale with purely plant-based surfactants and citric acid, scented with fresh mint and spicy myrtle from 100% certified organic cultivation. It is vegan and available in 120ml, 750ml and 10l canisters.
Citric acid is produced by fermenting sugary by-products of industry, such as molasses. Because it reacts with calcium carbonate, releasing carbon dioxide, it is used in toilet cleaner to dissolve limescale. The plant-based thickening agent helps the cleaner adhere well to the surface and act on deposits. Coconut fatty alcohol sulphate and sugar surfactants, derived from coconut oil, starch and sugar, are added in small amounts to help loosen greasy dirt.
