In the old language of enamelware, drinking mugs with a rolled rim are called Topf mit Bördel. The rim of the CLASSIC Pastell Topf mit Bördel (mug) is curved, making it comfortable to drink from – this is the Bördel rim, hence the name “Topf mit Bördel”.

Enamel is made from iron fused with glass at high temperatures, using natural raw materials. This enamel cookware can be used on all hob types (gas, electric, ceramic, induction and even over an open fire). Thanks to the iron core, heat is conducted quickly and then retained: for sustainable, energy-efficient cooking.
