The kitchen measure or measuring cup is used to portion cooking and baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, milk, water, and other cold or hot liquids. Two scales on the inside of the kitchen measure or measuring cup show liters in centiliter increments or in ¼ or 1/8 liter (depending on the size of the kitchen measure), which is the traditional Austrian unit of measurement for liquids. The measuring cup has a comfortable side handle and a pouring spout, called a "schnabel" (beak), with which liquids can be easily poured. The rim of the kitchen measure is curved – in enamel language, this is called a rolled rim.
The material enamel consists of iron fused with glass at high temperatures, hence made from natural raw materials. This sustainable enamel cookware can be used on all types of stoves (gas, electric, ceramic, induction, and even over an open fire). Thanks to the iron core, heat is quickly conducted and then stored: for sustainable, energy-saving cooking.
Perfect hygiene is guaranteed by the non-porous, smooth glass surface. This is odor-neutral and antibacterial, and also easy to clean. With proper use and care, enamel cookware will bring joy for a long time and retain its typical luster.
