The Natracare Organic Super Tampons with Applicator (16 pieces) feature a smooth, easy-to-insert cardboard applicator. They are completely biodegradable and plastic-free. The organic tampons use rolled cotton made from long organic cotton fibers, which gently absorb menstrual blood and expand widthwise. The cotton is soft, absorbent, and does not dry out the protective mucous membrane of the vagina. Natracare tampons contain no fragrances or dyes, unlike many other tampons that often have an additional coating of synthetic fibers. Natracare tampons also use no chlorine for bleaching, as toxic carcinogens (dioxin) are a byproduct of this process. The cotton used is not genetically modified, preventing pesticides, plastic, toxins, or viscose fibers from entering the body.
