Recycled toilet paper is the easiest switch to make in your whole household: everyone needs toilet paper, but no one needs virgin fibre. We’re deliberately keeping this selection small for now – currently, we stock moist toilet tissue from Eco by Naty; we only add new products when they meet our criteria.
How to recognise good recycled toilet paper
- Raw material: Recycled paper gives used paper another use, while bamboo is the virgin-fibre-free alternative.
- Number of layers: 2-ply paper lasts particularly well, while 3-ply paper is noticeably more comfortable.
- Packaging: ideally paper rather than plastic film, from individual packs to bulk packs.
- Pack size: multipacks reduce the number of orders, journeys and amount of packaging.

Is recycled toilet paper as soft as virgin fibre?
Modern multi-ply varieties are hardly any different from virgin fibre – soft and tear-resistant at the same time. You won’t notice the difference day to day – but forests will.
Recycled paper or bamboo – which is better?
Both avoid virgin fibre: recycled paper gives used paper another life, while bamboo grows back quickly. Choose according to your personal preference and look for paper packaging rather than plastic film.
What is moist toilet tissue suitable for?
As a gentle addition to dry toilet paper – especially for sensitive skin, it provides extra comfort.
