About I+M

i+m NATURKOSMETIK BERLIN is a cosmetics company from Berlin. It was founded in 1978 and, according to its own information, develops and manufactures its products in Germany.

Where i+m comes from

  • Founded in West Berlin in 1978 by midwife Inge Stamm and her friend Monika Berg; the name stands for Inge + Monika
  • Monika Berg stayed until 1988, after which Inge Stamm took sole charge; she retired in 2013
  • Since 2000, i+m has not used beeswax or honey
  • Managing directors today: Verena Zydek and Jörg von Kruse; the company is based at Greifswalder Straße 214 in Berlin
  • In 2014, i+m opened a women's refuge in Zambia

How the products are made

  • The products are developed and made in Germany, largely in Brandenburg according to i+m
  • i+m fills some of its care products into airless dispensers, which pump out the formula without exposing it to air

Ranges at Taiga

  • Midnight Miracle: including the Sleeping Cream
  • Sun Protect: sun care with SPF 30 and SPF 50 for face and body
  • Hands & More: hand and foot care
  • Berlin: including body lotion

How to use

If an airless dispenser does not pump immediately, i+m recommends pumping firmly several times. If that does not help, use a straightened paperclip or a toothpick to press through the small hole in the base onto the inner lifting plate, then pump again.
