Brabantia
At Taiga, Brabantia stands for waste bins and pedal bins that blend discreetly into kitchens and bathrooms. We stock the Touch Bin, Bo Touch Bin and NewIcon pedal bin ranges in sizes from 2 to 60 litres – from compact bathroom bins to double pedal bins for separating waste in the kitchen.
The Brabantia range at Taiga
The Touch Bin opens with a light press on the lid, without a pedal, and is available from us in a 40l version, among others; larger models up to 60 litres are listed as inspected B-stock. For separated waste disposal, we stock the Bo Touch Bin with plastic inner buckets, including a 2x30l duo and a 3x11l set with three compartments. The NewIcon pedal bins are classic pedal-operated bins, available from 2 to 30 litres in matt steel or white, alongside the compact 4-litre Bo waste bin for small bathrooms. Several models are also available as reduced-price B-stock.
As well as bins, we stock the matching PerfectFit bin liners in several code sizes — including a compostable version for organic waste — along with Sort & Go waste bins for pre-sorting. For laundry care, the range includes the expanded-metal ironing table with matching ironing board covers, the Essential and Lift-O-Matic Advance rotary airers, and the tower drying rack.
Why Brabantia is a good fit for Taiga
Brabantia complements our household products with waste separation that genuinely works in everyday life: thoughtfully designed opening mechanisms instead of wobbly lids, in sizes for everyone from single-person households to family kitchens. If you are already looking for cleaning products for the kitchen and bathroom, Brabantia provides the right solution for waste disposal.
Touch Bin or pedal bin – which is better for my kitchen?
The Touch Bin is ideal if you want to open the lid without a pedal, for example when there is limited space in front of the bin. The NewIcon pedal bin is the classic solution with a foot pedal and is available in more sizes and colours, from 2 to 30 litres.
Which bin liners fit my Brabantia bin?
Brabantia uses a code system: each bin carries a letter code, and the matching PerfectFit bin liners carry the same one — so the liner fits precisely without sticking out or slipping through.
What size do I need for separating waste?
For two waste streams, a Bo Touch Bin with an 11l+23l division is often sufficient; for three waste streams, choose the 3x11l set. If you live alone or have limited space, the 4-litre Bo waste bin is enough for a bathroom or office.
