Description
As the name suggests, the CLASSIC Pastel casserole dish is suitable for all kinds of casseroles as well as ham patties and lasagne, but of course also for baking fruit tarts or strudel and much more. It is available in different sizes and colours and is made of robust enamel. The edge of the casserole dish is curved - the rim in enamel parlance - whereby the metal is bent to create a round and stable edge. The casserole dish can be used in any oven. But be careful: always use oven mitts.
Enamel is made from iron that has been fused with glass at high temperatures, i.e. from natural raw materials. Thanks to the iron core, the heat is conducted quickly and then stored: for sustainable, energy-saving cooking and baking.
The non-porous, smooth glass surface guarantees perfect hygiene. This is flavour-neutral and bacteria-inhibiting and is also easy to clean. When used and cared for properly, enamelled crockery is a pleasure to use for a long time and retains its typical shine.
Riess is currently the only tableware manufacturer whose production has a positive CO2 balance. Their factory is powered by electricity from their own hydroelectric power plants. They generate more electricity than they need themselves and feed it into the grid as green electricity.
