Description
A small bucket with lid, which serves as a bio-bucket in the kitchen to collect organic waste. The conical shaped bucket in a classic pastel shade of nile green, has a handy handle made of fine wood. The well-closing enamel lid with enamel handle prevents bad odors from escaping. The diameter of the bucket is 20 cm at the top.
Enamel is anti-bacterial, fruit acid resistant and heat resistant up to 450°C. The material enamel consists of iron fused with glass at high temperatures. Perfect hygiene is guaranteed by the non-porous, smooth, bacteria-inhibiting and cut- and scratch-resistant glass surface. Enamel dishes are recommended for people allergic to nickel.
Today, Riess is the only tableware manufacturer whose production has a positive CO2 balance. Their factory is powered by electricity from their own hydropower plants. They generate more electricity than they need themselves and feed it into the grids as green electricity.

This product scores in at least 50% of our sustainable manufacturing characteristics, making it especially sustainable. Manufacturing is an essential step in the life cycle of a product. This includes whether a product is manufactured without animal testing or the use of critical substances such as genetically modified crops or palm oil. This product scores in at least 25% of our characteristics for comprehensive recyclability and thus meets our requirements for sustainable recyclability. A major challenge for sustainability is the integration of products into biological and technical cycles.
