Description
As an Austrian company, Riess naturally also carries a schnitzel pan. But don't let the name fool you! Although the round oven pan with the high rim and two handles is perfect for baking out crispy schnitzels, it is also versatile in other ways: Braised and egg dishes and even Asian wok dishes succeed in the enamel schnitzel pan. With its two practical handles, it can be placed directly on the dining table and is thus also suitable as a serving pan.
The escalope pan can also be placed in the oven at high heat without any problems and used as a baking dish or oven pan, for example, as a gratin dish for baked ham patties and even as a baking dish for baking bread.
The material enamel is made of iron fused with glass at high temperatures, that is, natural raw materials. This enamel cookware can be used on all types of stoves (gas, electric, glass-ceramic, induction and even over an open fire). Thanks to the iron core, heat is quickly conducted and then stored: for sustainable, energy-saving cooking. Perfect hygiene is guaranteed by the non-porous, smooth surface made of glass. This is aroma-neutral and bacteria-inhibiting and also easy to clean. When used properly and cared for correctly, enamelware gives long-lasting pleasure and retains its typical shine.
Today, Riess is the only tableware manufacturer whose production has a positive CO2 balance. Their factory is powered by electricity from their own hydropower plants. They generate more electricity than they need themselves and feed it into the grids as green electricity.
